Grace was born and raised in Australia to parents who spent years living in India following different spiritual traditions. She sees part of her dharma as a lifelong student and teacher of Hatha Yoga and various Buddhist practices.
Her experience covers teaching in international gyms such as Good Life, Fitness First and various other studios across Melbourne.
She served as a guest teacher in various yoga shalas in India and rehab centres such as Hope Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation centre in Nepal.
From a young age she was exposed to different spiritual practices across Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity this stemmed from a strong influence from both her parents who spent years in India immersing themselves in Buddhist and Hindu traditions.
Some of her notable experiences and sadhana’s include
• Practice in the Karma Yoga path at the Satyananda Yoga Ashram (Bihar School of Yoga Lineage),
• Initiated as a Theravada Buddhist Nun (Burmese tradition in Bodh Gaya),
• Kundalini Shaktipat initiation in the Swami Muktananda Lineage
• Hatha Yoga practice with several renowned teachers including (Chidhananda, Vinay Kumar, Master ji)
• She has also dedicated much of her time to the practice of Vipassana and Anapana meditation in the tradition of Goenkaji completing over 30, 10 day Vipassana courses, 1 20 day Vipassana and 3 30 day Vipassana Courses.
• Pa-Auk tradition at Pa Auk Forest Monastery in Myanmar, and at Uruvela Meditation Centre in Bodh Gaya.
• The Grass Roots Yoga (200 hour Teacher Training Course)
• Ashtanga Yoga Mysore (200 hour Ashtanga Yoga TTC)
• Lived in The Byron Yoga Centre for 6 months (500 hour Teacher Training Course)
• Lots of valuable lessons from many mystics and yogis in Tiruvannamalai.
Her greatest influences currently the holy mountain of Arunachala, Ramana Maharishi and many other great saints.
In her worldly life Grace has worked in Digital Media for General Motors, in hospitality and in retail. She is currently pursuing her studies in Psychology. (Swinburne University, Melbourne) In this way she aims to dive deeper into the human consciousness and to be of greater service to others.
